Delaware Tech's Men's Lacrosse Team Wins 2022 NJCAA Region 19 ChampionshipAfter playing at the club level in 2019 due to low numbers and not playing at all in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Delaware Technical Community College's men's lacrosse team returned to prominence on April 29 when it defeated Union County Community College 20-5 to win the 2022 NJCAA Region 1

Gibbs Named Teacher of the Year for Georgetown ElementaryBrandon Gibbs, a 2015 graduate of Delaware Tech's elementary education program, was recently named Teacher of the Year for Georgetown Elementary School. Gibbs is a 5th grade elementary education teacher.

AT&T Establishes First Responder Scholarship Endowment as Part of Public Safety Efforts in the StateDELAWARE —AT&T has established a scholarship endowment with Delaware Technical Community College to fund tuition, fees, books, uniforms, and course materials for students enrolled full-time in the Criminal Justice associate degree program at the Dover, Georgetown, or Stanton campuses.

Delaware Tech Softball Set to Host Region 19 Tournament as Top SeedDelaware Technical Community College's softball team finished the regular season with a 28-2 record and has earned the top seed in this weekend's NJCAA Region 19 Softball Tournament. Delaware Tech will also host the double elimination tournament on May 13 and 14 at the Georgetown campus.

Communications Students Tour IMAX FacilityStudents in the introduction to film class of the communications program at Delaware Technical Community College recently received a facilities tour of the Penn Cinema Riverfront IMAX Theatre in Wilmington, followed by a screening of "The Batman" in the large-screen format.
